IEEE GRSS Wuhan University Student Branch Chapter, in collaboration with State Key Lab of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS), Hi-Target Satellite Navigation Technology Co., Ltd., and Geo-spatial Information Science (GSIS), will hold the 2025 International GeoInformatics Summer School (IGSS) from July 2nd to 8th, 2025 in Wuhan, China, as an important session of the 2025 Luojia Global Summer School.

IGSS has been organized by State Key Lab of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS) at Wuhan University since 2011. It offers young GeoInformatics scholars from all over the world an international and strongly academic summer session where outstanding lecturers and young talents can meet to explore new ideas.

Excellent Presentation Award

Participants will finish and present course projects at the end of the course. The presentations will be evaluated, and one excellent project will be selected from each course and be presented again during the Closing Ceremony. Each member of the excellent project group will be awarded an excellent participant certificate.

IGSS is a great platform for everyone to introduce, share, and exchange cultures. Students will have chances to learn about Chinese culture and introduce their own cultures through icebreaking activities, museum/campus visit, parties, etc.
